    First time resolution to service issue was poor and expensive. That aside customer service was excellent at 2nd visit to correct what had been done wrong first time plus issue a refund on initial overcharge.

    There was a delay in collecting my vehicle as there was a problem with the dealership ramp breaking down.

    I'm sorry for the delay. We informed you in early in the day that there was a problem with our MOT ramp which may delay your collection, however, in the event I understand we managed to keep the slippage to a minimum. Thanks for bearing with us.

    The receptionist was somewhere else and took ages to turn up, the whole process of taking the car in took 40 minutes.

    May I apologise for the delay - I see that MINI Service was very busy that morning, which explains why my Service Adviser was tied up, but does not excuse the wait. Sorry again.

    The last service I had has been fine, however I have had issues in the past with the dealership. They charge you £15 for a courtesy vehicle, witch I think is very expensive.

    I am pleased that your latest visit was good and apologise for any issues in the past. We continually aim to learn and improve. As regards loan cars, we charge £15 to cover fuel and insurance. Some dealers don't charge for loan cars but charge an increased labour rate, which affects all customers including those who don't take a loan car. We feel our approach is fairer and more transparent.

    Very disappointed to fine out I needed replacement brake pads after doing 3,000 miles since taking delivery of my used car. Although the price was reduced for this which I was grateful for, I still feel that 3,000 miles of use is not enough

    I'm sorry that you were disappointed by the brake wear. When you bought your Cherished MINI in April 2012, it met all of the criteria of the MINI Approved Used Car Programme, including the brake pad depths. Items such as brakes wear based on a number of factors. Nonetheless, I see that you were not unhappy with the overall experience of your visit to Benham MINI. Thank you.

    The service was completed on time and I was provided with a courtesy car. The cost of standard parts ie. brakes, were astronomical and I decided to shop around. The car had to come back to have the service sensor reset and we were charged 25.

    Benham has little influence over the price of parts we buy from MINI UK, but I apologise nonetheless if you found them expensive. Benham unashamedly uses only Genuine MINI Parts, so you might find cheaper parts but these will be non-genuine. Most of our customers want to know that their car has been fitted with genuine parts as fitted at the factory. Please beware of couterfeit parts - particularly brakes which have been known to be made of papier-mâché and are therefore highly dangerous.

    The staff are always helpful, but this time I was quite disappointed with the state of my car on its return I had 2 new tyres fitted and both the tyres and the alloys were covered in sealant which was unsightly and difficult to remove.

    Very good front desk, not so sure about technical as car was returned with all 4 wheels having very low tyre pressure

    Our tyre inflators are regularly checked and so may be more accurate than alternatives found at home or at a petrol station. Pressures should be checked when tyres are cold. We'll call you to see whether you'd like us to double-check your pressures.

    Screen wash topped up too diluted so has been no use in freezing weather.

    Benham recommends genuine MINI Screen Wash at the correct dilution for the given weather conditions. Some non-genuine products can clog up the pipes causing the washers to not function.
