Great service, professional, friendly staff willing to talk in detail about the products and not pushy. Not the traditional sales patter, about wouldn't you look great in the car, any car as long as I get my monthly quota, type in cheap suits.
Thanks for your positive comments. Benham usually recruits from outside the motor industry; indeed, we recruit for attitude and train for skills. Perhaps that is why members of our MINI team are not normal....which, in this case, is a good thing!!

There wasn't a courtesy car available again. I have only ever had one courtesy car and that was not a nice experience. If it wasn't for the nice service staff I wouldn't bother going at all.
We run a large fleet of service loan cars for all of our customers to book, but these get booked up in advance. I understand that your visit was a drop-in, and so all of our loan cars were out with other customers. I'm sorry you were disappointed with your last loan car - I must say I am surprised as we run only BMW and MINI cars less than 6 months old and there's no bad car in either range.

I was not contacted to advise me the car was ready for collection. The car was not looked at when they said it would be.
Thanks for your feedback. Our records indicate your vehicle was dropped off on the evening of the 12th and went into the workshop at 8.00 on the 13th. We identified the fault and applied for goodwill from BMW UK on your behalf. Once authorised, we ordered the required part, which was fitted on the 14th. Again, our records indicate that we advised you when your vehicle was ready for collection. That said, clearly you were not completely satisfied and so I apologise if we let you down.
Pretty good, but I left the car on the Monday expecting to pick it up on the Friday, but they did not start the work until Friday so I had to wait until Saturday.
We received your vehicle on Monday and road tested it on Tuesday. This identified problems with your clutch and flywheel. We spoke to you on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday that week. The necessary work, part of which was warranty and the other paid by you, involved removing the gearbox, replacing the clutch and flywheel, and re-installing the gearbox: this was a substantial repair. I apologise that we over-ran the Friday target, but please rest assured we had been working on it throughout the week.

This dealership does not know anything about customer service. I requested a call from the dealer 3 times r3e4garding a couple of queries, no one as called back i called the head office and the said someone would call back they didn't.
Naturally, I'm disappointed you feel that way. However, on checking our telephone records I see we've had at least 4 calls, so we have returned your calls. I understand we discovered another dealership (i.e. not Benham) had not completed a previous service properly, so we gained permission on your behalf from MINI UK to complete the job under MINI TLC (the 5 yr / 50,000 mile service pack). Sadly, your recent service was not covered by TLC as you have now exceed the mileage which frustrated you.

I didn't receive a Service reminder call from the dealer on this occassion.
With MINI's now on "condition based servicing", the car tells you when it needs a service based on mileage, time and driving style, so the only reminder calls we make now are 24-hours before your booked service appointment. May I apologise if this did not happen.

Recently had my Mini mot and service however after having the car for 2 days the service light appeared in red.I had to take tha car back because they had forgotten to reset.
I have looked into your concerns and can confirm that we did not forget to reset your service light. You booked your car with us for a service and MOT, but we advised you on the day that a brake fluid change was also due imminently. You declined to have the brake fluid changed and that is why your service light came on two days later. You have now booked in for the brake fluid to be changed and you are happy with our explanation as given above.

The MOT took over 2 hours to be completed and then I had to revisit. I was really unhappy with the service I received.
I'm confused by your comments. We advised before your visit that we allow 2 hours for an MOT. Your car failed due to a cracked wheel, which we quoted to replace but you declined so you left us with paperwork quite rightly showing the vehicle as unroadworthy. You found a 3rd party who was prepared to weld the wheel and were disappointed we had not offered to do the same - however, we don't recommend welding. So the revisit was to re-MOT your car! I'm satisfied we acted properly throughout.

The dealership have been very good and have tried to resolve the rattle in the car on 2 occassions.
Rattles, particularly in the dashboard, are difficult to isolate and resolve. Nevertheless, we appreciate your patience.

The first part of the investigation of my car was good. Collecting the car was, ridiculous as I had to wait over 45 minutes while sales staff stood around chatting, full well knowing I was waiting. Worst service I've ever experience in a car dealers
I apologise for your long wait. To be fair to all, we deal with our customers in order of arrival. Regrettably, sales staff are not qualified to use the aftersales systems to generate your invoice nor to explain the work done on your car by our technicians.
